Dear Friends,
Greetings in Jesus’ all-powerful name.
My visit to North America from 11th July to 22nd September went very well. I was happy to connect with wonderful American churches and friends of this ministry in Washington, Oregon and California as well as working with our faithful administrators Don and Judy Haney. The Hale family in Salem, Oregon (where I used to live) made my week there memorable. To be present for the memorial service of my dear friend Martha Hale, and to be with their large family to share their grief, was special. On a happier note, I attended birthday celebrations for two of the young grandchildren.
Another special time was visiting with two “Michaels“ and their young families in California. Michael and Natasha Turner in Sacramento made me very welcome and I was impressed with their two young boys and how they minister as a family in the US, Ukraine, NZ, India and other places. Michael came on our team to India when he was 17 years old where, I think, his “missions vision” was birthed. Michael drove me to my nephew Michael and Bronny Wilson in Castro Valley, even though it meant heavy traffic. There I enjoyed a happy time with their three beautiful children, Aria (7), Judah (5), and Everett (5 months). The good weather was a bonus of course.
This time I spent longer in Canada and visited with my mentor and friends Ray and Althea Bloomfield. It was great to observe Ray, at almost 91, still ministering to many around the world by phone and Skype. Time with my sister and family in Canada was lovely and Lil arranged a three day visit to Keats Island. Our friend, Ruth Moody, gave the six of us old friends superb hospitality.
I am planning a visit to Auckland in November for Trustees’ and AGM meeting and then go to Taranaki area again for another time of ministry among our friends and churches there. I am grateful for these opportunities and time in this beautiful part of New Zealand.
Samuel Paul and Grace in Chennai have sadly lost their 24 year old elder son Charlie after he was many months in hospital. He was a wonderful young man of many talents and a great worship and youth leader. He made many of our videos. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. John 5:35 writes of John (the Baptist) as a “burning and shining light and they rejoiced for a season in his light.” This passage from God’s Word is how the Lord answered my questions concerning Charlie’s death. Please pray for this family who do so much for the poor, lepers, children and elderly.
Our team of twelve people will be visiting India in January 2018. They come from the North and South Islands.
We are so thankful for these whom the Lord has chosen to bear His Name among the precious people of India. Please pray for us (and our leaders, Ps. Clive and Joy Lietze) as we prepare for this time.
Thank you for your prayers, love and donations. We are living in challenging times and what Jesus told us would happen is happening now. Remember that in Nehemiah’s day “The wall (unfinished) was still built even in troublous times.” There is a precious move of the Holy Spirit in India in spite of persecution and many challenges. It is a privilege to stand with these faithful men and women of God.
God bless you and your families.
Lovingly,
Nancy

Report from Ps Samuel John:
Samuel John writes…
Greetings in the name of Jesus. Hope this letter finds you all well. We are all doing well by the grace of God. Last two months we are busy with lots of meetings and outreaches.
We have arranged outreach meetings in nearly twenty-five places in the months of September and October 2017. Juni and I preached in many places like Kaja, Turputhalu, Peruplaem, Orratippa, Puliramanagudem, and many have come to the Lord. We also baptized many people. All the people who have come to the Lord are 1st generation Christians, drunkards and people who are from idolatry. But Praise God, they are all now saved by the grace of God.

We are delighted to be leading the GNLM team of twelve people to India in January 2018. Opportunities continue to arise for sharing the work of GNLM. On Sunday Clive was given a 15 minute speaking slot at a Combined Church Service here in West Otago, where he showed a short video of our 2017 visit as part of his presentation.
